A Christmas wonderland 🎄
If magical is what you are after this Christmas, then you won’t go wrong making a trip to the Eastfield Garden Centre.
As I entered, I could see a selection of delicious cakes and scones, in the café area and I thought “well it would be rude not to”! After tea and scone which was so very yummy, I moved slowly down each aisle and was met with mouth-watering treats to fruit flavoured teas perfect for Christmas stockings. Bottles of Gin and Spiced Rum filled the shelves with a festive feel, a local Whisky tasting experience is available to purchase and that is just the beginning as you enter this wonderful place that can only be described as WOW!
Eastfield garden centre is a family firm and year on year the business has grown from strength to strength, the family get involved as much as possible with the local community and strive to offer a garden centre, which they feel is a little different from the rest. and it most certainly is!
Gifts for everyone all under one roof, from babies to adults. Your pets and wildlife are not left out either there are so many luxury toys for your “besties”
Walking from one department to the next I completely forget the world outside and all its challenges I was just in the here and now and it was a wonderful feeling.
A row of Christmas trees all twinkling, colours flickering, it’s hard to tell which one you would choose as they all look amazing.
Climbing a couple of steps into another area, a magical wonderland awaits, the most beautiful Christmas trees adorned with beautiful decorations and twinkling lights all telling their own story. There are more trees here than I’ve ever seen in one place before, Tinsel, ornaments, lights it’s all here and there is a huge selection.
As I make my way outside to look at all the plants, I pass a stand of a deep red poinsettia, another item I can tick off my list. A notice tells me that the real Christmas trees will be on their way.
The freshness of the air and the flowers and plants outside make me feel like I want to do some gardening even at this time of year! “Steady on,” I say to myself!
As I head back inside, I see the potting shed café, Sunday Carvery I’m told is very popular and there is a new area for afternoon tea all set up its simply lovely, somewhere you can hold a birthday party or another event.
The customer service in the entire place is excellent the team are so friendly and happy to chat and to offer advice, I could spend all day in here and I may just do that one day, but for now it’s time to purchase another perfect gift for that person who has everything!
They don’t have this, I thought, smiling to myself. 😁
