If it’s a game of golf your dad likes, you won’t go wrong treating him to a round at Withernsea Golf club. Set on the edge of the seaside town, the course has narrow undulating fairways with varying sizes of well-guarded greens. He will receive a warm welcome at this course, where he can choose to play either a 9 hole or, as is usually played, an 18 hole. To book a time or get more information, call 07865 475635

If you’re looking for something unusual and unique, these gin bottle lamps are a fabulous gift, however if you have something personal that would look great as lamp why not take your item into Electrodec in Scarborough and let them do the rest! what a brilliant idea and a perfect gift for some Dads out there!
Tasty treat in Flamborough
The Seabirds in Flamborough is a great place to take your special person for fathers day. There is nothing quite like a Sunday dinner, and most dads will agree. The menu at the Seabirds takes some beating and you’re in a great location to take a breathtaking walk along the cliff-tops afterwards to walk it all off and have some quality time together.
Filey for Ice Cream
Taking some time out with your special person on fathers day? Maybe just walking, talking, reminiscing and making another memory is lovely. However, it’s doubly enjoyable whilst eating yummy Ice Cream, and we love ice cream from Scoops ice cream which is next to Holdsworth Amusements (which have some brand new racing games dads would love too!) there’s also the Coble Landing Chippy, right next door overlooking the beach on coble landing. After all that you’re probably in need of a walk, either way, this is a great starting point for any walk, whichever way you choose to go.
Furbellow’s in Whitby!
This excellent Gentleman’s Store not only has a unique range of clothing, grooming products and gifts for men but also has a traditional barber. Any dad we are sure would be thrilled to receive a gift from here, and if you can’t make up your mind, you could get him a gift voucher so he can choose himself! Furbellow, a truly amazing experience
A pint with a view in Hornsea
If a walk on the promenade, a pint and a spot of lunch is his thing. Then the Marine Hotel is the place to go. Seating outside is available, and a great day will be on the cards with all this and stunning views.
Traditional pub with great seafood
If you are looking for an authentic pub experience and great seafood, for your dad on father’s day, you will not be disappointed with the Cod and Lobster in beautiful Staithes. Overlooking the harbour on the seafront, you can tuck into delicious food with a fabulous atmosphere – what a wonderful gift.
