Whether you’re a Steampunk enthusiast or simply looking for a great day out, the long awaiting Filey Steampunk Festival returns on 14th & 15th May and promises a weekend of full of costumes, activities, music and great entertainment for all in the heart of Filey.
There’s some truly unique experiences on offer, rides inside a real tank on the beach anyone? How about trying your hand at the tea duelling event? (that’s testing your skills at biscuit dunking by the way) or perhaps you’d like to try burlesque lessons? O la la!
Across the weekend street performers like Crab & Crumb, Old Time Rags one man band and the costume parade bring the Victorian atmosphere. The Raven Morris dancers and local favourites, the Ramshackle Shanty men, are always guaranteed to put a smile on every face in the crowd as you browse the many stalls of the Steampunk Emporium.
