AVACADO AND PRAWN SALAD

If you love avocado and Prawns, you love this tasty treat!

Cut the avocado lengthwise around the seed, twist gently, and open the two halves, scoop out the pip using a spoon, and carefully scoop out the avocado, you can cut 2-3 small cubes of the avocado and mash the rest using a fork, Use the avocado peel as your bowl and add a small amount of your favourite lettuce, add in the mashed avocado, and the cubed avocado, a few cooked prawns and drizzle on thousand island dressing, squeeze lemon juice on top to taste and voila! Deliciously yummy 😋

CRAB SALAD

If you want a change grab some tinned or fresh Crab for this tasty dish. We think it’s deliciously easy to make and a great starter or main depending on how hungry you are!

Place lettuce in a small bowl (of choice) and add some tasty rocket, cut a juicy tomato into segments and pop in, we then love to add corn for a bit of crunch, add in flaked fresh or white canned crab, drizzle salad cream over the crab (as much as you prefer) and for a really tasty treat add a half boiled egg on top and Enjoy 🥰

TUNA PASTA SALAD

This quick easy dish is actually really filling, you can add almost anything you like to it but we like it simple so here goes.

For one person add two handfuls of pasta to a pan of water that’s being brought to a boil, (a splash of olive oil will stop the pasta from sticking) cook for 8-12 mins depending on the shape, (we use the twirls) whilst the pasta is cooking, put in a bowl lettuce (preferred choice) though Rocket is really tasty and goes well with this dish. slice cucumber, add some juicy sliced tomatoes, and cut some red onions into small pieces. when the pasta is cooked you can rinse it with cold water and add it to the bowl of salad, toss the salad and pasta together and then add the preferred amount of canned/fresh tuna, add a salad dressing sauce, sprinkle some fresh herbs and there you have a tasty tuna pasta salad. Yum 😋

GREEN SALAD WITH TOAST AND HUMMUS

We are all for simple, easy, quick dishes that are yummy 😋 and this next snack will make you wonder why you have never tried it! or maybe you have! 😁

Get a bowl (size preferred) for of leafy green salad, add some avocado cubes, succulent tomatoes, and cucumber, and toss. Next toast some fresh crusty bread, have your favourite hummus on standby and when the toast has cooled spread it on the hummus, your can sprinkle with dried chili flakes, (optional) pop it on top of your salad and there you have it, a tasty snack that you can enjoy anywhere!

FETA, BEETROOT, AND WALNUT SALAD.

This dish may look pretty plain but we just love it. it’s not only easy you can add sweet potato chips, a slice of crusty bread your favourite salad dressing as it’s so versatile.

So for a delicious healthy lunch whipped up in no time, all you need is a bowl of green salad leaves, cubed or sliced beetroot, feta walnuts, and your choice of additional extras, perhaps some boiled new potatoes, and voila! a very tasty dish indeed! another of our favourites!
