The Royal Hotel is just 10 minutes’ walk from local shops and Whitby Railway Station. Whitby is a traditional maritime town and features historic cobbled streets, picturesque houses, and a sandy Blue Flag beach.
If you are looking for a viewing location with a higher vantage point, this hotel is a brilliant location and you can make a weekend of it and even watch the show from the bedrooms which face out towards the Abbey.

You can pop into The Royal on any of the evenings to see the show, but on the Tuesday, Thursday and Friday night they are putting on special laser themed cocktails and live music
