Hats, Scarves and Gloves, matching or not?
Passing the time, chatting with friends, listening to each other’s points of view on specific topics can be pretty educational and thought-provoking. However, we all know we can talk about, well, just about anything!
I was listening to my friend talking about her purchase of a new hat and scarf, she then added gloves into the mix, and it sounded like she had lost a penny and found a pound! “It’s a matching set,” she declared! So for the next 10 minutes, our conversation was about hats, scarves and gloves, which looks best, matching or not! Some may question, “does it even matter!” well, yes, actually, to some, it does.
A little later, when I was getting ready to go to town, I took my scarf off the coat hook and opened the drawer where I kept my hats only to find that I did have oddments!
And they had all seen better days.
Closing the door behind me after putting on my non-matching thread worn hat and scarf, I walked into town. I thought I might as well take a look at what’s on offer and if, like my friend, would I find myself with a matching set, maybe even gloves too.
Walking into was Marks and Spencers, I could see some gorgeous hats and scarves at the far end wall. The colours were beautiful. A display stand of gloves stood nearby.
And the answer to that question, for me, doesn’t matter! Scarves, hats, gloves, whatever you like, will look just fabulous! 😍
