Top 5 Farm Shop Finds

If there’s one thing we’re here for at LYC, it’s farm shops. Whether it be on a full-blown farm, a garden centre or a deli, perusing those bountiful shelves lined with gleaming jars and goodies, baskets of veggies and homemade cakes, oh yes, it’s pure heaven.

Here’s a selection of our favourite finds from across the Yorkshire Coast for you to explore to help support our local retailers, producers and farms.

Victoria Garden Centre, Whitby

No visit to Whitby is complete without stopping at the Victoria Garden Centre. A brilliant cafe combined with gifts and plants, what more could you ask for?

Irton Garden Centre, Scarborough

You can find pretty much everything in one place at Irton Garden Centre, it has expanded a lot of the years and now houses everything from plants, clothing, gifts, plus a super restaurant, the list goes on and on!

Redcliffe Farm Shop & Cafe, Lebberston

Set on a real farm, a visit to see the jolly butchers is a must at Redcliffe. Fresh veggies, meals and cakes, plus their own eggs are always plentiful and they pride themselves on stocking lots of Yorkshire produce too.

Eastfield Garden Centre, Bridlington

Another huge store with a fab deli and cheese counter, did we mention they have a Gin Den too? A cafe and seperate restaurant help cater for different dining experiences but make sure you bag some baking to take home!

Brewers Fayre Kitchen & Deli, Hornsea

Brewers Fayre is a fantastic find at Hornsea Freeport. They have a large, spacious cafe with friendly staff and stock homemade jams, a well stocked deli counter and lots of local produce to puruse, we might need a basket!
