Some of my family will ask me what I want for Christmas? I always answer this question the same way, and here’s how.

“I would love a surprise”, I hear a quiet sigh, this does not seem to sit quite right. So I’m asked to give a clue as to what I need or want? I sigh this time, ” a surprise would be lovely”, the conversation will continue until I stop and think, mmm, do I need anything?

Should I answer with “save your money, I’m ok” or “how much are you spending on me” none of these thoughts stays as the answer will always be the same.

I love a surprise always have and always will, but it appears it’s only Christmas that this seems to be a challenge for my family.

So, this year I’ve made it a little easier for them, I’m giving them a list of shops that I have recently been to where they can browse, receive excellent customer service, get all the help they need and come away feeling amazing as they will have found a perfect gift for me.

Lilly’s Treasures is on that list.

Karon, the owner, is a truly remarkable lady with so much passion.
She quotes her saying, “to inspire, uplift and delight” – (this is the essence of Lilly’s Treasures) which is precisely what she does.

I’m told that often people will make a special visit to see the window displays and can I believe it. They are stunningly beautiful with so much care and attention to detail.

The window is dressed with a Christmas theme. As I’m browsing, customers are talking about the windows and the beautiful, unique items that are all around. A couple is chatting about what to put on top of their tree this year, A star or an Angel? Call me old-fashioned but I go with the most popular choice, a beautiful Angel.

I love the mystery and the treasure trove feel of this shop. Although on entering, you’d be wrong if you thought there was just one floor as to the right when you walk through the door, stairs lead down into a smaller room full of, well, full of treasures, and it’s delightful.

I see the perfect gift, but I see more too, something a little unusual for a family member.
