There are so many things to see and shops to shop in the beautiful town of Whitby it’s hard to know which direction to take.
Walking across the swing bridge over the River Esk, admiring the views of the harbour and town I was feeling excited about finding another perfect gift and happy with myself for being so organised this year!
As I stood at the crossroads, I noticed a sign which indicated that Kemps on the Coast was down a winding street to the right of me and today, this is where I’m heading. I made my way to the shop and was not disappointed.
The Christmas windows are stunningly beautiful I gazed at all the lovely items and just when you feel you have seen every item you see something different, I could stand here and look all day long.
Liz has an emporium of beautiful and unusual products, she works hard to find and curate a collection of beautiful, different and useful things. To inspire the gift giver and thrill the gift receiver – looking for the perfect gift here will be a pleasure and easy, or so I thought!
There are not many places where everything I see is the perfect gift! This makes it very tricky, as I’m looking from one item to another and trying to envisage the look of delight on my family members face as they open the gift.
I continue to browse as beautiful smelling aromas from the diffusers fill the air. I see interesting books, jigsaws, quirky items. There are so many wonderful unique gifts all around.
The Christmas decorations are gorgeous, and I imagine them in my home.
The lady at the counter chats with me. Her customer service is excellent. She understands exactly where I am coming from in finding it difficult to choose as I love it all!
This would be the perfect place if you were needing all 364 gifts for the 12 days of Christmas! 🥰
I do choose though and I’m delighted with my choice I also take pictures of some fabulous pieces that I’m interested in as in the new year I will need five birthday gifts and I know where to find them.
