Once Halloween is over we can all quickly look forward to Bonfire night, the blazing fire, enjoying hot food in the cold night air, sparklers and of course the fireworks display. On Thursday 3rd November Whitby will be illuminated as ‘The Odyssey Embarks’ lights up the night sky. Created by the team at Animated Objects, the Scarborough-based Theatre Company, and supported by the Yorkshire Coast BID, ‘The Odyssey Embarks’ recognises the next point in the story, which sees Odysseus setting off on his return journey home.
